Wade Wilson became Deadpool in the first movie after a rogue experiment gave him accelerated healing powers but left him disfigured, which led him to embark on a quest for vengeance against those who wronged him. This film introduced Deadpool's unique humor and anti-hero persona, making way for his chaotic style.

The sequel showed Deadpool forming the X-Force to protect a young mutant from a time-traveling soldier, Cable. After a series of explosive battles and personal losses, Wade got his hands on Cable's time-traveling device. He used it to alter key events, including saving his fiancée Vanessa and preventing his past self from becoming the botched Weapon XI in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, granting himself a fresh start.

Summoned anew by the TVA for a fresh mission, how will Deadpool's wild antics sit with his new partner?
