'Morbius' unveils global poster and the antihero's transformation scene
Is he here to save the world or destroy it? Watch Dr. Michael Morbius and his sinister alter-ego in a new scene called “The Transformation” from the new action-thriller Morbius, coming exclusively to Philippine movie theaters February 2022.
The clip also coincided with the film’s newly-released global poster. The movie revolves around Spider-Man frenemy Morbius from the comics. In its first live action adaptation, one of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?
Morbius is directed by Daniel Espinosa, story by Matt Sazama & Burk Sharpless, with a screenplay by Matt Sazama & Burk Sharpless and Art Marcum & Matt Holloway, based on the Marvel Comics. The film stars also stars Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal with Tyrese Gibson.
Morbius is produced by Matt Tolmach, Avi Arad and Lucas Foster. The executive producers are Louise Rosner and Emma Ludbrook.
